Speed Limiter is a device that used to control the speed of the Vehicle. It consists mainly of Speed Sensor, Electronic Control Unit, and Wiring Harness. As the name suggests it can be fitted in all type of vehicle having Potentiometric accelerator Pedal irrespective of the fuel used in the vehicle i.e. the fuel of the vehicle may be Diesel, LPG, CNG or Petrol it doesn’t affect the performance of the system. This system is so concise that it can be install anywhere in the vehicle cabin near the accelerator pedal. This System is designed and developed by taking high end technology and derived by potential voltage switching. This system is suitable for all commercial vehicles, as well as passenger vehicle i.e. M1 , N1 and M2 , N2 category and can be installed in all type of vehicle which is being used as commercial or public transport where it is mandatory to install.
Component Description:-
Speed Sensor is a device that is install in series with the odometer cable at the gear box extremity. This is a Hall Effect Sensor whose property is to generate the electronic pulses when putted in the variable magnetic field. Speed Sensor is designed in such a manner that a magnetic shaft rotates as the vehicle comes to motion as a result generation of electrical pulses starts these pulses are collected and fed to the Electronic Control Unit.
Electrical Control Unit is the heart of the system it consists of Microcontroller RAM, Flash, Comparators and a series of capacitors and resistors. Its main function is to collect the signal from speed sensor and sent it to analyzer. After the analysis microcontroller send the signal to data accumulator where lot of logical execution takes place and finally ECU send the desired outputs to ECU of the vehicle that send an output signal to throttle of the engine that control the rpm and maintain them as per the desired vehicle speed.

Actuators is a component that provide the final derive to the system i.e. actuator is the transducer that coverts the electrical inputs in to displacement that is responsible for moving the main module cable attached with the hinges to throttle or lever or accelerator which are finally which are finally responsible for controlling the speed of the Vehicle.
This Speed Governor is based on the Fuel management system that used to control the speed of the Vehicle Speed Limiting Devices, Electronic Control Unit (ECU) and Solenoid Valve. It is installed in between the fuel pump & fuel filter. ECU can be programmed at any set speed. Speed Sensor is installed between the lower extremity of odometer cable and gear box. As the vehicle start moving its odometer cable rotates due to this rotation. Speed Sensor generates for a train of output pulses which are transmitted through cable to ECU. When subsequent output of the solenoid is generated.

Electronic Control Unit
As the input signal comes from speed sensor to the Micro controller, it generates output of 12V DC that actuates the solenoid which is responsible to control the fuel. The main processor of the entire system is placed in the ECU which is programmed by the software and the ECU works as accordingly.
Fuel Control Valve
As the solenoid receives the signal from ECU it try to control the fuel at the set speed and when the stream line flow of the fuel is achieved . It shows monotonic phenomenon through the journey until the speed become less then the set speed.
