Role Description
Handle type approval, certification, and homologation activities for vehicles and components.
Prepare and submit technical documentation, drawings, and compliance reports to authorities.
Coordinate with testing agencies (ARAI, ICAT, BIS, etc.) for product approvals.
Interpret and implement automotive regulations, standards, and notifications (CMVR, AIS, BIS, ECE, etc.).
Support R&D and Design teams to ensure regulatory compliance in new product development.
Track changes in automotive rules and standards and communicate updates internally.
Maintain records of test reports, approvals, and certificates.
Assist in testing activities, including witnessing tests and ensuring regulatory conformity.
Manage renewals, extensions, and amendments of existing certifications.
Liaise with government authorities.
Experiences: - 2 to 3 years
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Homologation procedures, Certification processes, and regulatory compliance
Experience in technical documentation, report preparation, and coordination with certification bodies
Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations, including ICAT and ARAI certifications
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage timelines effectively
Previous experience in the automotive or related industries is highly desirable
A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field is required
Designing and drafting using Adobe Illustrator, Cutia, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop
· Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and multimedia tools
· Create 2D/3D product designs, illustrations, and visual presentations
· Understanding and applying mechanical tolerances in designs
· Collaborate with internal teams to deliver creative and functional designs
· Manage and organize design files and project documentation
· Clear communication in English; good command over Hindi & Marathi
Maintain and update financial records and accounts.
Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and data entry.
Assist in preparing invoices, bills, and expense reports.
Monitor payments, receivables, and payables.
Support in bank reconciliation and financial documentation.
Maintain records of petty cash transactions.
Manage schedule, meetings, and appointments of management.
Handle emails, phone calls, and correspondence.

Manage employee & employer tax filings and payroll processes.

Manage office admin & HR tasks end-to-end.
Must have advanced computer skills (Excel, Email, etc.).

Expertise in Calibration of instruments and ensuring their accuracy and reliability.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
Experience in the automotive or industrial equipment industry is preferred but not mandatory.
